Black Lab Diamond Painting from DAC
This Black Lab diamond painting from DAC (Diamond Art Club) is one of my favorites for two reasons. I love labs in general and I love the quality of DAC kits. When I found this Black Lab diamond painting kit from DAC, it was a must have for me.
Love my Lab
I had a beautiful black lab buddy for thirteen years. His name was Dakota. I rescued him from a shelter and he became my gentle, loyal, funny companion who brought so much joy during a lonely season of my life. Dogs really are mans best friend. Sadly, I lost him in January 2022 due to cancer. As much as I miss him, I know God’s got him and we will see each other again. During the last three months of his life his vet saw him once and sometimes twice a week. The vet researched and provided us with the best care for Dakota at the best rates possible for a school teachers salary. I am so appreciative of their care that I decided to give this gorgeous finished piece to him and his office staff.
The Kit
The project name is “Black Lab” by Barrett Biggers. The drill count is 992,242. It has 37 colors with 4 AB’s, 70 x 84 cm or 28 x 33.6 inches. It is a square full drill kit. I started this April 18, 2022 and finished it May 28, 2022. The quality is exceptional as with all DAC kits. I thought there would be a lot of color blocking in the background but I was very wrong. There are three or four very light hues in the background making it lovely and interesting yet not taking away from the main image. That also means confetti. I like confetti in diamond painting so it worked for me. The artist did a wonderful job with the artwork. When I look at it, it reminds me of what heaven might look like for my Dakota buddy.
