My second diamond art painting is from Diamond Art Club. In the video below, I show the unboxing of two kits from Diamond Art Club, Frosty and Friends and Island Life. During the winter, I will work on Frosty and Friends. I must say the Diamond Art Club kit is an absolute joy to work on because of its quality.

I purchased Island Life to diamond paint for a friend’s birthday. She loves water, waterfalls, dolphins, and flowers so how could I go wrong with this choice? She liked it and has picked out a place to display it in her home.

This is my first square drill kit. Some people who diamond paint think square drills are harder to work with because you have to be more precise placing the drills. From my limited experience I have to agree. Although, I enjoy diamond painting with square drills more than I do rounds. I also noticed a very different look to the finished diamond painting based on the type of drill used. The round drill paintings are very sparkly while the square drill paintings shimmer. I’m not sure which look I like better.

The artist is Chuck Pinson and it is a limited edition. It is 92 x 70 cm or 36.8 x 28 inches, has 55 colors with 2 AB’s, and 101,104 square drills. I started it January 30 and finished it March 28. It did not really take that long for this one diamond painting because I participated in a Mermaids and Magic event. It took three weeks for me to do the event diamond painting. There was also a small diamond painting I gifted a friend that took a week to do.
